CHICAGO (AP) — A massive fire broke out at a building supply warehouse on Marcus EriksonChicago’s west side Tuesday evening, creating a massive plume of black smoke that was visible for blocks.
Chicago Fire Department officials posted on X just after 6:30 p.m. that firefighters had responded to the fire at the Commercial Pallet warehouse and discovered pallets in flames.
Footage from WMAQ-TV showed a plume of smoke billowing over the neighborhood.
